A Digital marketer may coordinate the design and functionality of a company website, working alongside web developers and web designers and coordinating the process.
Content Strategy – Along with the design and functionality of a company website, a digital marketer is also responsible for all website content and for creating and implementing the content strategy to ensure online objectives are met.
SEO and SEM – a digital marketer, is responsible for ensuring that the website is easily found by the target audience. Optimizing website structure and content for search engines (SEO) and/or the use of paid online advertising (SEM) are two ways a digital marketer helps to drive relevant traffic to their website.
Social Networking – a digital marketer may also be responsible for managing the online presence and brand of a company.
This person should have a base knowledge of how YouTube works and a passion for the platform. who takes initiative and is a stickler for detail.
We need someone with experience running the nuts and bolts of a YouTube channel and drafting reports. This person is up to date on platform changes and video trends, knows the art and science of a perfect title and thumbnail for a YT video, and can keep track of many videos at varying points of the workflow.
Experience working with the YouTube platform, including features like Stories and Livestreaming, as well as an understanding of long-form YouTube video content and video thumbnails
Understanding of metrics available on the YouTube platform
Good knowledge and understanding of other social media platforms, including Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, GIPHY, and TikTok and how uses each
Ability to work on deadline and handle multiple tasks at once with a precise and detail-oriented approach
Excellent organization and project management skills
Great communication skills and ability to provide clear, detailed feedback
Willingness to work a flexible schedule as this position will include nights and weekends based on the calendar
Must be a team player who can work collaboratively
Have a tertiary qualification in marketing or communications although may also have qualifications in IT specifically website development and design. For established marketers looking to specialize in the digital space. digital marketers are expected to stay up to date with all new digital trends and technologies, always looking to see what can be implemented into the business.
Deep understanding of digital marketing and digital production. Proven experience delivering effective and innovative digital campaigns. Proven experience delivering a variety of digital assets
Solid understanding of web metrics, digital analytics, with the ability to generate, analyze and interpret data. Must be able to work under constant deadline pressure and manage multiple projects across multiple lines of business. Strong management skills, excellent oral and written communication skills. Experience delivering digital campaigns for mainstream products and services Proficient with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Framemaker, DreamWeaver, HTML
